Post-doctoral position in "Energy modeling development and operation of future railway station buildings" at GDF SUEZ R&D (CRIGEN) and Supélec (Paris region).

The post‐doc job will carry out modeling and computer simulations of energy consumption in railways stations. This work will be part of an innovation and development program led
by the Chair Econoving bringing together a consortium (PRES Universud Paris) of academic and industrial partners – ALSTOM, GDF SUEZ, Italcementi, Saur and SNCF. The work of the post‐doc will support the achievement of a predefined set of project tasks which will address designing, testing and subsequently operating energy models for the equipment and for the buildings of a railway station. The aim is to identify the most effective approaches toward improving the efficiency of the railway station as a whole, and thus improve the perspectives for energy savings.
